The Environment Committee has invited submissions on the Climate Change Response (Emissions Trading Reform) Amendment Bill.

This submission details the changes to the Bill sought by the Commissioner.

The Commissioner's submission focuses on the proposals to continue to provide ‘free allocation’ in relation to:

• emissions-intensive trade-exposed eligible industrial activities
• agriculture.
