Submission on the Covid-19 Recovery (Fast-track Consenting) Bill

This submission mainly focuses on the relationship between this Bill and the Resource Management Act 1991 (RMA).

It proposes to simplify Clause 4 to make it clear that the sustainable management of natural and physical resources remains inviolable when considering initiatives to support recovery from the economic damage caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
