Coastal Management: A Report on Sandmining Activities at Mangawhai Heads, Kaipara District

This report presents the results of an investigation into the circumstances surrounding sandmining activities at Mangawhai Heads. In particular, it presents findings relevant to the environmental impact of the mining operation and the performance of the Department of Conservation as mangers of the resource.
