Media release: Commissioner supports proposal to separate South Island eel stocks

In a letter to the Ministry for Primary Industries, Dr Wright has outlined her support for a proposal to separate South Island eel stocks. This proposal would allow for a total allowable catch to be set separately for longfin eels in the South Island.
